| What began as a few friends picking guitars at the University of Georgia has evolved into one of the most successful rock 'n' roll bands in the world - Widespread Panic. In their 22 years together they have made record accomplishments without the help of major radio airplay or any mainstream media promotion. And that's the way their fans like it. They are a fine example of music speaking volumes, satisfying the die-hard followers with as many as 250 shows a year as well as making new fans everywhere they go.
